We are a youth-led, non-governmental and non-profit civil society organization dedicated to addressing various social challenges and fostering positive change in our vulnerable communities. We focuses on several thematic areas to effectively contribute to sustainable development and improve the well-being of young people and vulnerable communities.

Education and Skills Development

Promoting access to and improving the quality of education, as well as enhancing technical and vocational education and training (TVET) skills.

Youth and Women Empowerment

Empowering youth and women to realize their full potential, drive positive change, and contribute to a more just and equitable society.

Environment Sustainability and Climate Resilience

A Better Environment for Future Generations.

Protection and Migration

-Promoting human rights and gender equality by integrating a gender perspective into all policies, programs and activities. -Addressing the issues of human trafficking and unsafe migration, focusing on the rehabilitation of migration returnees and victims.

Health (HIV, SRHR, Mental Health, MCH and Nutrition)

Addressing various initiatives and raising awareness about health issues, including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, sexual and reproductive health right (SRH), maternal health, Maternal and Child Health and nutrition.

Youth entrepreneurship and Self-employment

Unleashing the potential of youth to succeed in business.

Peace building

To promote Peaceful coexistence and participation in -Youth peace and security(YPS). Women peace and security(WPS). Conflict- PRR. Digital Peace programs.

Youth Care Emergencies Response.

supporting youth and vulnerable communities affected by conflict, displacement or a disasters and psychosocial stress issues, through providing immediate response and assistance to areas affected.

ABOUT CAYO

CAYO – Concerned African Youth Organization, a youth-led, non-governmental and non-profit Civil Society Organization. CAYO was founded in 2022 by a group of like-minded youths comprising of men and women with experiences in different sectors. CAYO has registered as a Local Organization under the new CSO proclamation number 1113/2019 with the registration number of 7335.
