We are a youth-led, non-governmental and non-profit making civil society organization dedicated to addressing various social challenges and fostering positive change in youth, women and our vulnerable communities.

We strive for improved social inclusion in education, healthcare, sanitation, economic empowerment and a fulfilling life for all societal groups.

We value diversity, not only about who we serve but also who we recruit to our board, staff or volunteers. We shall respect other cultures, not just ours.

We are committed to upholding the principle of nonviolence as means of social change. We shall attract people by deeds, not coercion; seek to transform the youth in Ethiopia through dialogue and persuasion and shall be the change that we want to see in Ethiopia.

CAYO – Concerned African Youth Organization a youth-led, non-governmental and non-profit Civil Society Organization. CAYO was founded in 2022 by a group of like-minded youths comprising of men and women with experiences in different sectors. CAYO has registered as a Local Organization under the new CSO proclamation number 1113/2019 with the registration number of 7335.
